I think I liked him better when he was extremely short (thinking LoT here). Did you adjust KB's to canon mesh up with LoT in any way or are we meant to regard that version of Benzene as being apocryphal?

LoT was drawn in chibi style throughout, so everyone was short despite their actual height. Meaning if LoT was canonical, Ben would still be the same height either way. I think I listed his height somewhere back then as around 5'5".
LoT isn't canonical though, since it was an OCT and made not-much-sense.

Also; Holy Crap that song was fantastic. You've expanded my musical horizons, which are already fairly broad but there's no sense in hindering positive growth. :)
